John Hernon Appointed Manton Park Stud CEO

Dubai Mile takes up residence at Manton Park Stud Scoop Dyga

Having left his post as manager of Childwickbury Stud, John Hernon will take up the mantel as Chief Executive Officer at Martyn Meade's Manton Park Stud in Wiltshire with the long-term goal of elevating the operation to one of the top commercial stallion farms.

Hernon said: “The Manton Park Estate has a rich racing history, and it is a privilege to take on the running of the stud here alongside Mr Meade. I am fully committed to ensuring the stud reflects the heritage of the Manton Estate and to develop and strengthen its position and profile within the bloodstock industry.”

“We are going into the 2024 breeding season with four promising stallions in Advertise (GB), Aclaim (Ire), Dubai Mile (Ire) and Technician (Ire), who we will be promoting to breeders and supporting ourselves. It is an exciting time to be joining the Manton Park Stud team and I look forward to being a part of its future and relish the task at hand.”
